The Scott + Co Scottish Legal Awards >

The Scottish Legal Awards, sponsored by Scott + Co, is an events programme which promotes excellence in Scotland’s legal profession.

There are a number of award categories which are presented to specialist teams, firms and individuals. Nominations are sought directly from firms and individuals who must be practicing in Scotland.

Judged by a panel of independent experts from business, law and politics, the process of awarding firms and individuals promises to be rigorous and fair and is chaired by Margo MacDonald MSP.

The Scottish Home Awards >

The Scottish Home Awards is an independent awards programme, run for the benefit of the housebuilding community with the objective of helping house builders, architects and housing associations sell and market their properties more effectively.

The programme has been very enthusiastically welcomed by the industry with attendees praising a high quality event, slick presentation and the reputable and influential judging panel.

SBAAT >

The Scottish Business Achievement Award Trust (SBAAT) celebrates Scottish business achievement and supports Scottish charities.

Three awards are presented on the day, chosen by the SBAAT Awards Committee, an exclusive panel of prominent Scottish business people. The Scottish Business Achievement Award, the Young Achievers Award and the International Award are the three awards presented each year.

Some of the supported charities include: Aberdeen Foyer, Deafblind Scotland and Venture Trust.

Turn the Tables >

Sir Chris Hoy joined a panel of sporting and media legends at the Cancer Research Turn the Tables Lunch, which sees sports stars and journalists swap roles.

The unique format of the event, which can often prove more revealing than either participant might have anticipated, sees sports stars turn inquisitor, with Sir Chris up against his biographer, sports writer Richard Moore and former International rugby legend Gregor Townsend up against BBC sports commentator, Ian Robertson. TV writer and comedian Andy Hamilton adjudicated the light hearted lunch which raised essential funds for Cancer Research.

Law Society of Scotland Conference >

The Law Society of Scotland’s 60th Anniversary Conference was a unique opportunity to bring together Scotland’s solicitors as well as academic advocates, sheriffs and judges to showcase the collective talents and seize the opportunities within the sector.

The two day programme, held at the EICC, included international speakers, decision makers and influencers as well as offered delegates personal management training, seminar sessions, workshops and networking opportunities.
