Kirsten founded KDMedia in 2000 and has been a senior level PR adviser to corporate Scotland for over 20 years. She has transformed KDMedia from a small PR consultancy to one of the biggest independent event companies in Scotland, creating a portfolio of business award programmes, conferences and trade shows which host over 3000 people every year.
A long serving student of the exclusive Galloway School of Business, Kirsten is also a busy mum of three and active supporter of a number of charities. Whenever she can, she escapes to the East Neuk of Fife for family breaks with a long list of new gins to try.
Hailing from the Highlands, Pippa joined KDMedia as an Event Intern in 2015 following a degree in International Events & Marketing Management. Pippa focuses on programme development, managing judging panels and category line ups for each awards initiative. Her key focus is entrant engagement, keeping a firm finger on market trends whilst providing support and strategy when it comes down to those all-important award entries.
A competition chatterbox with bags of integrity, Pippa keeps us all abreast of what’s hot and what’s not and can often be found amongst Edinburgh’s vibrant bar scene – networking of course.
Kelly has been with KDMedia since 2012 after achieving her Masters with distinction in International Festival and Event Management. Our resident events expert, Kelly is highly organised, has an acute eye for detail and a multi-tasking skill like no other when it comes to planning and operating KDMedia’s events portfolio.
When Kelly isn’t running around with her event management clipboard, you’ll find her running around the streets of Midlothian in preparation for her next 10K running challenge….or maybe even half marathon. As a busy Mum of two young boys, she rarely sits down but when she does, guaranteed this self-confessed “Tea Jenny” always has a cuppa in her hand.
A Hertfordshire hedgehog at heart, Maxine joined KDMedia in 2018 following a 14-year career within the professional services sector in Scotland, where she gained a wealth of experience in business development, marketing and event management. She is a driven, enthusiastic and efficient business development professional with a positive, upbeat and creative approach to everything she does.
When Maxine isn’t negotiating sponsorships, selling our events or business networking across Scotland, you’ll either find her at the gym or on the slopes…..but mostly she enjoys being at home with her family, often with a glass of her favourite gin in hand.
